Co-Branded PDFs are an excellent addition to your partner marketing center toolkit. Like uploaded files, co-branded PDFs provide deeper education about your products and services. 

However, with co-branded pdfs, you add merge fields that allow your partners to incorporate their information directly into the document. 
 


mainicon.png Best Practices When Creating Co-Branded PDF's

A Co-Branded PDF is a PDF document that includes the marketing asset you set up within Program Manager. 

To create a Co-Branded PDF, follow these steps: 

  1. Open your PDF within Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
  2. Using the tools provided in Adobe Acrobat, place the merge field code (for example, [MarketAsset11503]) directly into your PDF document.
  3. Upload the PDF into StructuredWeb.

In order to create Co-Branded PDF Settings, navigate to the Content Manager and select Setup Content tab at the top of the page. From the menu, select Library → Files → New File → Co-Branded PDF.

Content Tab

When creating a Co-branded PDF, you will need to add at least a name for your Co-branded PDF. 
 


Once that is added, you will be taken directly to the 'Content' tab so you can begin adding your content. Upload a PDF with form field(s) and verify the mapping to marketing asset(s). 

Upload the preview image and it will automatically be used to generate the thumbnail image. After uploading you will be able to save the document.


Step 1: Upload


Once you drag & Drop the PDF into the 'Upload' box, additional steps will appear on your page. 
 

 

Step 2: Review

  • Review the form fields that are mapped to marketing assets.
     

Step 3: Preview

  • Preview the sample file.

  • [CLICK HERE] to download the sample file.
     

Step 4: Image

  • Upload an image to be used for the preview and thumbnail.

  • Recommended size: 600 x 450 px

  • Accepted formats: jpg, jpeg, gif, png


Once all the above steps are completed, click the 'Save' button. 


Setting Tab

The settings tab will take you back to the initial setup where you can enter the following information:

  • Name
  • Description
  • Keywords
  • Assigned To
  • File Type
  • Would you like to make this available for pulling from the managed library
  • What attributes would you like to set for this asset

 

Assets Tab

The list of assets that show on the assets tab will show the assets that are being used in this campaign. The assets will be checked automatically based on the content of the campaign. If you would like to add an asset just for use on this campaign click the Add new button.
