Effective Date: September 13, 2025
We're enhancing the accuracy of your leads reporting by removing artificial leads from email opens and clicks from your reporting and KPI calculations.
What’s Changing
Previously, partners could configure the system to automatically generate leads when recipients opened emails or clicked links. These automatically-generated leads were included in reporting and KPI calculations.
Starting September 13, leads generated from email opens or link clicks will no longer be included in reporting or KPI calculations. The option to configure these settings has also been removed from the partner interface.
Why This Change Matters
Automated systems like email security scanners and preview tools often open emails and click links without any human interaction, which has been inflating lead counts. By filtering out these artificial interactions, your reports will now show more genuine engagement and provide clearer insights into actual prospect behavior.
What You Can Expect
More accurate data: Your reports will represent genuine human engagement.
Clearer insights: Lead numbers may appear lower, but they’ll provide a more reliable picture of real prospect activity.
Better decision-making: Cleaner data allows for stronger marketing strategies and improved ROI measurement.
What You Need to Do
No action is required. Your updated reports will be available automatically beginning September 13.
